Air Media Center App Reviews

This App was running fine on my iPad but now with the new update I cant see some videos I can only hear them. The same videos run fine on my iPhone6 plus. My iPad and iPhone are running the latest software. Please fix this problem. This App was 4 stars prior to the last update.

I hate this app I cannot hook it up and $100 just so you can use the app on the iPod and I wasted $4.27 for the stupid app

This used to be a great app, but the last few updates just got worse and worse. When the app worked, it spent more time buffering than actually playing video. The latest version seems to be a huge update and even added Apple TV functionality which made me think, finally, developers have ironed out all the bugs and finally fixed what used to be a fantastic app.Sadly, since updating to the newest version, the app no longer works at all. it finds my computer, but forget about it actually seeing any files to play. The AppleTV version isnt much better. Ive only been able to get the app working once and after 5-minutes of playing a movie, it crashed and wont even find the files any longer. Every time I try to use it, it buffers for a minute then says an error caused it to loose its wifi connection. Sadly, its the app, because everything else seems to still be working. Im running the app on an iPad Pro, iPhone 6s and a 2015 Macbook Pro, so theree no reason it shouldnt work, but its all but dead now. A real shame. Ive been using Video Stream lately and am impressed with its better interface and the fact that it actually works. Ironically, Video Stream has more neg reviews than good, but Ive had nothing but good experiences with it, so spend the $3 and enjoy your video and other files via Wifi.

App stopped working, and customer support is none existent. Waste of money. I am using Air Video HD instead.

Easy enough to configure, etc. but boy is it terrible. Cuts off songs randomly. Stops playing altogether at times. Constant close/reopen to try and fix. No dice. Switched back to Plex now that they got their act back together.

Works great. Would really like it though if there were the option to fit images into view rather than filling the width of the screen.. Tall images crop out the top and bottom 20% of some images. Please fix this..

Where the hell did airplay go?! This app used to be perfect. Since when is it ok to downgrade from an update. I want my money back.

Media Center no longer functions on the lock screen with the new iOS6. PLEASE FIX! THANK YOU!!!. PS: The controls are still displayed on the lock screen, they just dont function when selected...Hey, its been almost two months! When are you going to fix this app!!!

I was looking for an App to stream my familys home HD movies to my iPad. This App does it perfectly.

This app was very simple to set up and well worth the low price. I really like how I have access to all my files from my phone and from anywhere. I definitely recommend it. BUT it needs to be updated for the iPhone 5 screen!

Agree with the other reviews. Needs iphone 5 size to be 5 stars again. Great app otherwise!!!

Windows server loaded fine. IOS (Gen 2, IOS 4.2) app loaded. Saw the server. Click on any song and the app crashes. - 4 or 5 stars if I receive timely support and a fix.

I live this app. I would give it 5 stars, but I need iPhone 5 screen size support badly. I use this app to stream mkv and avi files from my Mac Pro to my iPhone. Then I mirror my iPhone screen on to my main HDTV with AppleTV. It works perfectly, except since this app doesnt fill the screen of the iPhone 5, it causes black bars all around the video on the TV. I would even pay for an update.

I have your average Internet connection on the US east coast and it loads up the movie after about 2 minutes. The movie pauses many times to buffer I assume (unwatchable). I dont know what transcoding means and I once had an option to transcode, now I dont. (I assume it means converting the file to a playable file on your device??) but...?? I dont know. Its a great app, I just guess the technology is not there yet. Or maybe you need a superior Internet connection? I definitely have your average connection, so I would imagine the majority of users experience what Im dealing with. Slow, choppy, and out of sync. ):

Will change to 5 stars when updated for iPhone 5!
