Being using this app since forever and loving it.. Need iphone 5 support tho

Look. What this app does is finally relieve you of the need to carry around your laptop or stay at your computer to access all of your wonderful videos that you have stored on your device or a USB hard drive. I love what it does! The problem lies in the details. It is slow and a bit clunky at times and it doesnt support the iPhone 5s big new display. This app could be soooooo much more. I just hope it comes in an update, and it comes soon!

This app works great, but there are major issues you need to know about. The biggest issue is anything with multiple episodes like TV shows will be listed in alphabetical order. That includes audiobooks which will NOT be separated. They will all be listed in numerical order. I consider this completely unusable. Some minor glitches like .mkv wont show a thumb-nail, going into a folder doesnt show video length the first time on long lists. Back out of the folder and then back in...video length is now there. That aside, the app works really well for what I want.

Its a great app and Id give it 5 stars if it was upgraded for the iPhone 5 screen, but its annoying that the picture is small till that happens.

Ive tried others and this one does it all. Music and Vids all in one. Im happy.

Update to iOS 7.0, can not add device manually. Pls fix

Updated for iOS 7 for appearance, but didnt fix manual connection box being blank. Dont download until this is fixed, as connections cannot be added over the internet without this capability.

Streams 30 seconds before failing I will update this review when fixed.

Last update changed the appearance but did not fix server issue in iOS 7. The developer rarely updates the app. It does not work with a fresh 7.0.2 install/restore.

The app is not working to good for me. I think it recognized my computer in the beginning but its no longer doing that.

This was cool when it was first out but the developers have been lazy. Icelanders and their coffee breaks...

Seems like a lot of people are having issues with this app but it works fine for me on my iPod touch 5. Only thing I dont care for is how the "Now Playing" kind of overlaps the scroll bar so its not easy to use.

Needs to update the manual connection! Cant add any! Dont download this app until they fix it! Im going to give bad reviews until they fix the dang problem!!

i have late 2009 mac mini iOS 10.9, ipad retina , iphone 4s,5c, iOS 7. works as it says.. no problem ,, easy to set up as little as 3 min. my music and video collection is on a external HHD connected to the computer still have no problem nor issue no quality problems. haven’t tried on iPod touch 4th generation iOS 6 though… will keep you posted ...now can further improve by adding art cover and info to the song and video. when possible… as well take it to the next level,, by adding this feature to smart tv’s… then there is no need to have apple TV device. All network connected….baby…..

Still cant add manual connections! Has been over 4 months since iOS 7 betas were released. Guess this company wasnt part of the testing.

Lack of functionality. Can no longer add a manual connection. Long longer able to establish a connection from and external network. I want a REFUND due to updates making the app useless.

Cannot enter manual connection in app. Meaning, you cannot use unless on wifi network. Worthless.

But we need: • Subtitle support • Swipe controls (Volume, scrubbing, brightness)

This used to be a great app, but the last two update ruined a good thing. More time is spent buffering than playing video. Dont waste your money until developers get around to fix ing what used to be the best streaming app out there. A real shame.

After reading reviews of previous versions, I was skeptical ... but given that most everyone praised the support and this app provided most every feature I was looking for, I decided to give it a chance. Im very glad I did. While the app was downloading to my iPad, I was downloading and installing the windows app for my Windows 7 Media Center. Upon completion of the download, install and setup of the windows side, I grabbed my iPad and started the app. Lo and Behold .... all of my media was available and streaming seamlessly over my home WiFi system. No fuss, no mess. I was completely stoked at its ease of install and setup, explorer style navigation and excellent streaming capability. I have a single night of using this software and may very well run into glitches and bugs as I continue to use it ... but considering that they have the streaming protocol running so well, Im not too worried about what I might ultimately uncover. I will be testing its effectiveness over the internet over the next week or so and hope to add to my impressions as available. Four stars for now and hopefully increased to 5 as I have more time at the wheel. cheers!!
